Latex Care
Latex is a unique material: flexible, shiny, and extremely special. To keep your garments in perfect condition for longer, it's important to follow some basic care instructions.
Here you'll find everything you need to know to keep your latex clothing looking like new.
Cleaning
It is recommended to clean the garment after each use.
- Hand wash latex with lukewarm water
- Use a mild or latex-specific soap
- Avoid harsh products or alcohol
Rinse well to remove any residue.
Drying
- Dry the garment with a soft towel without rubbing
- Let it air dry, away from heat sources
- Avoid direct sun exposure
Excessive heat can damage the material.
Shine and finish
To achieve that characteristic glossy latex finish:
- Use lubricants or specific latex products
- Apply a small amount and spread it evenly
This also helps protect the surface.
Storage
- Store garments in a cool, dry place
- Avoid contact with metals (they can stain latex)
- Keep garments separate from other fabrics
Ideally, store them in individual bags.
How to put on a latex garment
Latex is delicate, so care must be taken when wearing it:
- Use lubricant or talc to facilitate the process
- Avoid long nails or objects that could tear the material
- Adjust the garment little by little, without pulling abruptly
Important precautions
- Avoid contact with non-specific oils or creams
- Do not expose latex to extreme temperatures
- Be careful with rough or sharp surfaces
